The Business Education Department of the Wantagh School District provides students with an opportunity to experience a comprehensive secondary educational program. The department offers students relevant and current career development opportunities which afford students the opportunity to learn about the fields of accounting, business law, marketing and computer applications while in high school. Each teacher in the department works in concert with members of the local business community to insure that the classroom experience is current, as well as consistent with the corresponding experiences in the world of work. The department offers students the opportunity to participate in a credit-bearing Work Study program.
