Science Research Teacher - HS
Required Qualifications
- NYS Science Certification (preferably Chemistry or Earth Science)
- Prior experience as a secondary science teacher with a focus on science research.
- Extensive knowledge of New York State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS).
- Strong background in scientific research, with experience conducting and publishing original research preferred.
- Relationships with regional scientific learning Institutions preferred.

Special Education Teacher - Elementary

Position Details
The successful candidate must be driven, flexible and adaptable, as teaching
responsibilities include leading instruction for our students in special class
setting (6:1:1). Additionally, the successful candidate should have the following:
- Knowledge and experience practicing differentiated instruction at all
levels of academic ability
- Ability to provide a learning environment that supports the social emotional
well-being of all students and challenge them to work to the best of their ability.
Strong knowledge of instructional technology
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with students, families and faculty.
- Familiar with Curricular modifications for individualized instruction
- Promote Social development within the school setting
- Works collaboratively with related service providers, SLP, OT, PT, Psychologist
- Has understanding the effective utilization of classroom aides and 1:1 aides

Speech and Language Pathologist
Required Qualifications
NYS Speech and Language Disabilities Certification
TSSLD or TSSHH Certification
Previous experience as an SLP preferred
AAC experience required
Position Details
- Demonstrate experience in utilizing research-based speech and language
intervention strategies.
- Successful experience as a school based speech and language therapist.
- Knowledge and experience in special and general education, pedagogy, and assessment (including data analysis).
- Able to administer, analyze and score standardized assessments to generate the necessary reports and recommendations.
- Provides mandated speech and language therapy for students as described on each student's IEP.
- Able to develop and monitor IEP goals and objectives.
- Serve as the Speech and Language Pathologist at CSE meetings for students, demonstrating a strong knowledge of the CSE process, referral and evaluation processes and IEP development.
- Maintains IEP compliance, student files and rosters for the school team.
- Participate as a member of the school based Child Study Team.
- Develops and implements intervention strategies.
- Background in assessment and writing Speech and Language Evaluations
- Background in implementing ABA methodology to improve the language, speech, and communication of students required
- PROMPT trained or certified a plus
