Elementary and Secondary Openings
Wantagh Schools is seeking NYS certified teachers to join our team as a substitute teacher. We have multiple openings on the elementary and secondary levels.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong Instructional skills.
- A caring, student centered approach to teaching.
Per diem rate: $110/day

Per Diem Substitutes
The Wantagh School District holds our substitutes in high accord. We are currently accepting applications for per diem TEACHER substitutes in the 2020-21 school year.
- Must have NYS TEACHER certification to be considered.
- Interviews will be on-going.
- Please be sure to include 3 reference emails on your OLAS application.
Per diem rate:
days 1-20 $90/day
days 21-40 $100/day
days 41+ $110/day
