Middle School female students are learning that being comfortable with themselves makes them a better sister, daughter and friend through the Beautiful Me program. 

During a course of three weeks, school psychologist Nicole Friedman and guidance counselor Angela Giley have worked with students through the curriculum-based program that teaches three tenets to improve self-esteem and which include self-awareness, appreciating one’s own skills and qualities and understanding that gratification results in helping others.
