WANTAGH STUDENTS EXHIBIT ARTWORK AT ALL-COUNTY FORUM
The artwork of 36 of the district’s finest student-artists was selected to hang at the Art Supervisors Association’s 15th annual Nassau All-County Art Exhibit, held at Farmingdale State College’s Roosevelt Hall on March 10. In addition, Wantagh High School senior John Leahy was named a senior scholarship winner.
This exhibition honors the county’s top student-artists in grades K-12 who have demonstrated excellence in a variety of two-dimensional visual artwork including drawing, painting, printmaking, computer graphics and photography. Student entries are selected by teachers and are limited to a maximum of three pieces of artwork from each teacher.
