Announcements
Wantagh High School’s chapter of the National English Honor Society is proud to announce the start of its first year at our school. We call ourselves The Alchemists. Our quest is to capture the imaginations of Wantagh students in the art of literature, just like our alchemist ancestors sought to capture the imaginations of people by turning lead into gold. We are looking forward to hosting many events throughout the year including a slam poetry event, book drive, and celebration in April for Shakespeare's birthday.
Be sure to check out our Instagram @whsenglishhonorsociety for any updates and even live events, like bedtime readings. At our latest meeting on 10/7, we discussed the organization’s events and activities as well as planned our interest meeting for prospective members that will take place on 10/28.

The NEHS Executive Board, from top down, left to right:
