District to Host 2021-22 Budget Workshops

The Wantagh School District will be offering four separate 2021-22 budget workshops for all community residents. There will be three evening workshops on Monday, March 1, Monday, March 15, and Wednesday, April 7, starting at 7 p.m. For those unable to attend the evening workshops, a budget workshop will take place on Thursday, April 8 starting at 1 p.m. (revised time from school district calendar). All workshops will be held via videoconferencing and a link to the workshop will be posted at that time on the district website.

Wantagh Middle School students participated in the #WalkAgainstHate, sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League and held during the nationally held Walk Week from Oct. 12-18.   Typically, students would have attended a scheduled event, but took to the middle school track during physical education classes and to their neighborhood streets and trails to demonstrate the school’s culture of kindness and acceptance.
