Welcome to wantagh schools

Dear Wantagh Community,

Our school district budget for the 2021-22 school year was approved by the community at the budget revote on June 15, 2021. The budget was approved by over seventy percent of voters, well above the sixty percent required for a supermajority.

I would like to thank the members of our community that participated in a lengthy budget process that included attending community forums and focus groups, completing surveys and providing direct input to the Board of Education and administration. This was truly a community effort, and your continued support of our schools is greatly appreciated.

I look forward to an outstanding 2021-22 school year for our students.

Sincerely,

John C. McNamara
