    Dear Community,

We are looking forward to the return of our 2,846 students this week and the beginning of the 2017-18 school year. I would like to extend a special welcome to all of our first time kindergarten parents and to those of you that may have just moved to our school district. This year promises to be an exciting year for our students with many new opportunities awaiting them. Our elementary STEAM (Science, Technology Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) program continues to expand, all of our middle school students will be receiving Chromebooks, and there are several new course offerings at our high school in the areas of art, technology, and research.

We also updated our facilities this summer with ceiling and lighting replacements at Forest Lake Elementary School, the addition of a new music lab at our middle school, and flooring replacements in over thirty classrooms across the secondary complex.

I look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events, and I wish all of your children a rewarding school year!

    Warm regards,

    Mr. John C. McNamara
