SEPTA would like to recognize those individuals who positively impact our children’s education experience. Recipients may include teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, custodial/cafeteria/clerical staff, as well as community members. Nominations will be accepted from SEPTA members for anyone across the district or a community member who contributes to their child’s educational or social experience. It is our goal to elicit nominations from parents representing each of the schools in our district. There are so many individuals who “go above and beyond” with our students; it is our hope to give special recognition to those individuals.
SEPTA will present the award at our June meeting. The Friend of SEPTA Award Committee will choose the award recipient and extend an invitation to the recipient and his/her principal or direct supervisor to receive this recognition at our SEPTA meeting.
