• One of the best parts of my job is that I am able to visit classrooms and conduct workshops.  Workshops are typically requested by a teacher and may consist of a single session or they can be multiple sessions.  Examples of frequently provided workshops include those for reducing anxiety, understanding disabilities and differences between people, and resolving conflicts with friends.  Bullying is another common workshop and consists of educating children about the various types of bullying that can occur (e.g, social bullying), as well as what to do should they observe someone being bullied or if they become a target of bullying behavior.
