• AP Biology is a course designed for students that have a strong interest in the sciences.  This course is designed to be the equivalent of a year-long college course.  Enrolling in AP Bio means that the student will undertake a responsibility to work hard and manage their time to keep up with a rigorous curriculum.  Success in this class is directly related to the amount of time invested.  Each and every chapter in the text that is assigned should be read  and outlined in the process.  Students must commit at least one hour per night to AP Bio either in the form of reading the text or reviewing class notes.

*The AP Biology exam is scheduled for Monday May 14, 2018 at 8:00 am.  Students will be notified about registration and fees later in the school year.

*The College Board recently changed the AP Biology curriculum and required lab assignments.  There are now 13 labs designed by the college board   and students are required to complete 8.  These lab assignments are lengthy and complex and will be completed in class but will require student attention outside of class.
    * In addition to the textbook, it is also helpful to purchase a review book.  I will give students information about a review book early in the school year.
