NO VISIBILITY POLICY
Students are prohibited from using, or having on or in an operational mode, any cell phone, iPod, laser pointer or pen or any other type of telecommunications or imaging/recording device during instructional time, except as expressly permitted in connection with authorized use in classrooms.
These items should be stored in a backpack or pocket during class time. If a student violates the no visibility rules, they will face the following disciplinary action:
Offense 1: Warning by the staff member.
Offense 2: Parent/guardian will be contacted, and the phone will be confiscated until the end of the period on teacher’s desk.
Offense 3: A write-up with the Assistant Principal’s Office, and the phone will be confiscated until the end of the day.
