The 8th grade E-Business class participated in the Cyber Robotics Coding Competition. Tyler received a certificate for being a MASTER CODER. Tyler said that the program was "Fun, Interesting, and Challenging because it got harder and harder."
Assemblyman, David McDonough, visited the 8th grade Business Management class on Dec. 19, 2018, to see the Jr. Achievement program in action. The Jr. Achievement program is run by volunteer, Ernie Papadoulias. JA Programs Assistant, Lorraine Englander, was also in attendance.
The 8th grade E-Business class visited LaunchPad (a business incubator with many tech entrepreneurs) in Huntington and the Coder School in Syosset in recognition of Computer Science Education week!

$250 NEFCU Grant Award Recipient
Mrs. O'Connor was the recipient of a $250 NEFCU "Funding Your Ideas" Teacher Grant Program for the Corporate Social Responsibility project to be used in the 8th grade Business Management project.

Brendan McCauley of Co-Founder of Chippo Golf visited the Business Management class on Tuesday, 11/20/18, to talk about entrepreneurship.
The VE Trade Show Team attended a mini-trade show and conference on Friday, 11/16/18, at Hofstra University.

On Friday, October 19, the VE class attended the Virtual Enterprises Entrepreneurship and Leadership Conference at LIU Post. Students had the opportunity to deliver an elevator pitch, network with and hear from industry experts and successful entrepreneurs, and participate in informative and exciting breakout sessions.

This project has been selected to receive a LEAVEY AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN PRIVATE ENTERPRISE EDUCATION.
