    The TeenDrive 365 Video Challenge is Back

    Toyota and Discovery Education are excited to announce the launch of the 2019 TeenDrive365 Video Challenge for teens to produce video PSAs on safe driving. Encourage your students to put their creativity in gear to curb distracted driving!

    By submitting 30-to 60-second videos, teens have the chance to get their message out to millions of their peers and to win great prizes:
    Grand Prize: $15,000 plus the opportunity to work with a Discovery Education film crew to reshoot the winning spot for TV
    Second Place: $10,000
    Third Place: $7,500
    Fourth Through Tenth Place: $2,500
    People's Choice: $5,000 (Awarded to one of the top 10 winners by public vote)
    Four Regional Winners: $1,000

    Deadline: Thursday, February 28, 2019.

    CAPS 4th Annual "Strike Out" Bullying HS Video Contest - Win an Amazin' New York Mets Experience!!  


    Dear Educator,


    Your  school group/team/club can win an exciting New York Mets Experience while "striking out" bullying. As part of the New York Mets partnership with CAPS' Bullying Prevention Center to "strike out" bullying, CAPS is launching our 3rd Annual Video Contest to actively engage school communities to stop bullying . The contest is open to Long Island school groups.  Students must be between the ages 13-18.  1st Prize:  Up to 15 students of the winning team and 2 faculty chaperones will be guests of the New York Mets at Citi Field for batting practice, a pre- game ceremony on the field and tickets to the game.


    Participating school teams will create a 60 sec PSA/video that promotes positive messaging, e.g. upstander behavior, respect for all, promoting kindness and inclusion. Each video submission must be submitted with short outline stating  how you will use this video in your school community to promote a positive school climate.
